Graduate Assistantship (Interdisciplinary 9/11 Project)

The Humanities Institute warmly invites applications for a full-time graduate assistantship to support In the Shadows of the Twin Towers, an interdisciplinary academic project documenting the history, health impacts, veteran experiences, and broader community effects of the September 11 attacks on the World Trade Center. This is a mentored experiential learning and professional development opportunity for advanced graduate students (G-4 status and above). 

Eligibility: Only G-4 and above graduate students without funding will be considered. Preference will be given to applicants from the humanities, social sciences, public health, or related fields. Specific questions regarding how this position would affect your current status and funding should be directed to your department's Graduate Program Director.

Application Deadline: Application review will begin August 5, 2026 and continue until the position is filled.
