Arleigh Rodgers studies the intersections of narratology and psychoanalytic theory in the contemporary American novel, drama, and film. Her research in the first-year writing classroom relates to composition students' reading habits and seeks to understand how instructors can utilize reading in FYW to make students better writers. She received her B.A. in English from Ithaca College (2021) and her M.A. in English Literature from the University of Southern Mississippi (2025). Her writing on dramatic literature has been published in Comparative Drama, and her other writing and reporting have been published in the Associated Press, The Rolling Tape, and Bright Wall/Dark Room.
