Giving Day: March 25, 2026

For one powerful day, the Stony Brook community will once again come together to make an extraordinary impact. On March 25, 2026, Giving Day returns — bringing 24 Hours To Empower Every Seawolf and the opportunity to shape the future of the State University of New York at Stony Brook and Stony Brook Medicine.

Now in its eighth year, Giving Day runs 24 hours, from midnight to midnight, when Seawolf supporters will dare to be part of something bigger. By making a gift to the areas that matter most to them, donors will transform ideas into action, from student success to groundbreaking discoveries.

Support the Staller Center and choose from one of two funds this Giving Day!

Supporting the Stony Brook Film Festival
ABOUT
Please join the Staller Center for the Arts and the Stony Brook Film Festival in helping to fund a new state-of-the-art film projector and 40-inch screen.

Two very special donors — Stony Brook Film Festival enthusiasts Rachel Bergeson, MD and Brian Margolis, MD — have agreed to match up to $20,000 toward this project.

Your donation will help bring bold, creative vision to life while directly strengthening the Stony Brook Film Festival. Your support ensures filmmakers can showcase their work with the highest technical quality and helps the festival continue to grow as a premier destination for independent cinema.

This is more than a screening. It’s a chance to champion creativity, amplify independent filmmaking and be part of a project that aims to leave a lasting impression.

Let’s bring a new film projector to the light together.
