SUPPORT THE ARTS
The Staller Center relies on the generosity and
philanthropy of our patrons and community. Most Staller Center
offerings are subsidized by grants, sponsorships and individual
donations that allow the Center to maintain excellence in
programming and to keep ticket prices affordable.
The Friends Make it Happen
The Friends of Staller Center is a wonderful way to support the
arts at any level. With special benefits at various levels for
donations starting at $50 and above, our friends have helped us
raise over four million dollars in the last 32 years. Friends’ funds
have been a resource for continual upgrades at Staller Center, from
new stage curtains and projection equipment for cinema, to an
electronic marquee that will soon be installed on the front of the
building. To support this season's Friends of Staller Center, please
contact Bobbie Wien at (631) 632-7232 or

Major Giving
Opportunities
In 1988, the Staller family gave Stony
Brook University a transformational gift to name the Staller Center
in honor of Max & Mary Staller. This leadership in private
philanthropy was vital to the success of the Staller Center over the
years, and is critical to ensuring the future of the center.
From naming opportunities to endowment gifts, the Staller Center has
diverse funding opportunities that will further elevate programming
and outreach, enhance the esteemed annual Stony Brook Film Festival,
and strengthen its mission as an outstanding, comprehensive arts
center. In addition, some major gifts may be eligible for
matching funds from The Simons Foundation that currently exists
through the generosity of Jim and Marilyn Simons. For more
information about making a gift, please contact Katie Stockhammer at
(631) 632-4062.
Corporate Sponsorships
Your company can get involved and show their support of the arts
and the community by supporting the Staller Center. Corporate
sponsorships from businesses receive high impact recognition
benefits for their support: fullcolor playbill ads, promotional
slides, preferred seating, company logos in brochures, and
receptions with the artists, among other opportunities. To find out
how to get your company on board, please contact Katie Stockhammer
at (631) 632-4062.
