What is a Gala?
The Gala helps raise funds to increase the level and quality of the programing at Staller. It is a way for you, members of the community, to help us as we bring world class entertainers like Ray Charles, Judy Collins, The Sydney Dance Company and Ballet Hispanico to our theater goers at affordable prices. The Gala is a way to show you really care and support the performing arts on Long Island and at Stony Brook. Without fundraising events like GALA III many of the programs we present would not be possible, or the ticket prices would be as high as in New York City. Be part of the team! You can order your tickets beginning December 4 on-line through our Secure On-line Box Office or by calling our Advancement Director at (631)632-7469.
Contribution levels include:
Benefactor - $5000
Patron - $2500
Sponsor - $1000
Contributor - $500
The above contribution levels include 2 tickets.
Donor - $150 per ticket.
The above contribution levels include priority seating, an invitation to meet the evening's stars at the post-performance Champange & Dessert Reception and listing in the Playbill (deadline - January 8, 2001).
(All amounts in excess of $85 per ticket may be claimed as tax deductible to the full extent of the law.)
