A breathtaking array of chamber music masterpieces, old and new, will be performed by the distinguished, award-winning artists, many of whom are “in residence” at Stony Brook. These sought-after performers have hundreds of recordings among them, encompassing the most famous classical repertory, 20th century masterworks and new compositions. With Soovin Kim, violin; Clara Lyon, violin; Katherine Murdock, viola; Colin Carr, cello; Kurt Muroki, bass; William Purvis, horn; and Gilbert Kalish, piano.
