The delightful African Children’s Choir, ages seven to eleven, has toured throughout the world performing a colorful mix of popular, gospel, and contemporary song and dance from Africa accompanied by ethnic instruments. Many of these children have lost one or both parents through the devastation of war, famine and disease, yet they are radiant with hope, charming the audience with their smiles and upbeat, inspiring African tunes.
The African Children’s Choir has gained international recognition performing at prestigious events alongside Mariah Carey and Sir Paul McCartney in London, at Nelson Mandela’s AIDS Awareness concert in South Africa, at a 2006 pre-Oscar party in Hollywood, and has been featured on TV’s Good Morning America, and Oprah, among many others. They will be sure to capture your heart and enchant the entire family! This two-hour show is recommended for children age 8 and older.
