A Fall evening will be made complete with a festive
concert by distinguished, award-winning artists including
Colin Carr, cello; Christina Dahl, piano; Arthur Haas,
harpsichord; Gilbert Kalish, piano; Ani
Kavafian, violin; and Katherine Murdock,
viola. They have recorded on leading classical
music labels as well as played concerts the
world over. In addition to their numerous
accomplishments, they are also esteemed
faculty members in Stony Brook’s
Department of Music. The program includes
the Bach Brandenburg Concerto No. 5; Stravinsky Rite
of Spring for Four Hands; and the Mendelssohn Octet.
Greet the autumn with this memorable concert.
