Pushing the boundaries of the traditional concert, this Staller exclusive will pair musical performances by noted flutist, Eugenia Zuckerman with readings by award-winning theatre, film and television actress, Claire Bloom. Ms. Zuckerman explains "the poetry is meant to illuminate the music and the music is meant to illustrate the text. It's not just Claire speaks and then I play. And it's not just music as background to words either; there's a real interplay of the words and music. Music and words are intertwined in a way that sparks the audience's imagination and there is an openness to trying something new." Their appearance will be accompanied by pianist Brain Zeger.
